Sally Townsend is a senior finance and corporate services executive with board-level experience across both the private and public sectors. Her career spans higher education, non-departmental public bodies (NDPBs), central government, and media, with a strong understanding of charity law in the university sector. In recent years, she has focused on the digital space, working with start-ups and the commercial arm of the University of London, as well as delivering outsourced corporate services to a range of organisations.

Sally’s expertise includes change management, strategic business partnering, and enhancing financial management and business planning in complex, high-profile environments. She is skilled at building high-performing teams with a strong customer service ethos, developing forward-looking strategies, improving systems and processes, and raising the profile of corporate functions. Security cleared (Disclosure Scotland), she brings both strategic insight and a practical approach to delivering transformation.

Outside of work, Sally is known for her ability to bring clarity, structure, and momentum to ambitious organisations navigating change.

Kevin Keppler, Finance Officer, combines financial acumen and IT expertise to enhance reporting capabilities and streamline administrative processes. His career began in IT before transitioning to accounting, contributing to Jenson’s success.

Sarah Barber is the visionary Founding and Managing Partner of Jenson Ventures, driving early-stage businesses to realise their potential. With a background in chartered accountancy from Deloitte, Sarah has been instrumental in achieving B Corp status and launching our SEIS Fund in 2012.

Paul qualified in 1994 as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte winning seven national and regional prizes at all levels of his accountancy exams. He then moved into corporate finance and spent three years raising funds for early stage and high growth companies. He then spent a further two years working on larger buy-outs, mergers and acquisitions and corporate disposals for private and public companies.

In 1999 Paul become Finance Director of a software company and subsequently floated it on OFEX (now PLUS). In 2001 Paul set-up Jenson Solutions and his first assignment was as interim Finance Director of an AIM quoted software company Intelligent Environments Group plc. Since then Paul has been Finance Director for a number of venture capital backed companies and has been growing Jenson Solutions.

Paul is the Chairman of Jenson Solutions and also has a small client portfolio.

A Chartered Accountant with more than 20 years of experience in business, Sadik has extensive experience working with SMEs/Owner Managed Businesses across a range of sectors and stages of development, including start-ups.

He is currently focused on Corporate Finance, advising owners on the sale of their business ahead of retirement to maximise value, sourcing equity for management teams looking to do an MBO and raising growth capital for established businesses.

Other areas of expertise include turnarounds, restructures, change management and stategy advice to ambitious managers looking to take their business to the next level.

Sadik’s early career was in banking operations, setting up new processes and trouble-shooting for JPMorgan Chase, Citibank and UBS in variety of operational roles. Sadik trained at Grant Thornton (London).

Trevor is an experienced Finance Director and Adviser. Trevor has many years of experience of working in Finance and has operated at Board level in a variety of senior roles in both industry and practice. Trevor has been a Partner in national accountancy firms including MacIntyre Hudson as well as playing a key role in building Wingrave Yeats into a major award winning Accountancy Practice.

He also spent time as CFO of a technology group listed on the OTC market in the US and was the first Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Ecovis, a leading global consulting network. He has guided many growing companies through transactions such as fund raising exercises as both a Finance Director and as an Adviser. He has extensive experience in dealing with many different types of organisations in diverse sectors such as Financial Services, Technology, Retail, Hospitality and Leisure, Media and Food, ranging from small start-ups to listed companies, including a FTSE 250 IT group.

Recent projects include setting up a new Innovation Centre that will support, fund and grow dynamic local businesses, advising on a business plan to support the development of local retail centres in Poland, assisting a new jewellery business with fundraising and setting up back-office systems, as well as establishing a new on-line fashion retailer.

After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant Andrew spent his formative post qualifying years with KPMG in Hong Kong working on a portfolio of financial services and commercial clients. On returning to London he joined Citibank and over 5 years held various financial control roles.

Andrew then spent 5 years as Financial Controller for the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority. On returning to London Andrew spent a further 2 years at Citibank, followed by 7 years with CIBC World Markets, the London investment banking subsidiary of one of Canada’s largest financial institutions. At CIBC, Andrew held roles as Head of Business Financial Control and then as head of Internal Audit for Europe and Asia.

After these years with larger organizations and a huge knowledge of systems and controls Andrew made the switch to the SME sector, variously in financial services, B2B services, digital media and leisure/events. In these roles Andrew performed roles as FD and CFO covering a broad range of administrative and support activities. Andrew found the switch to SME’s invigorating and thrives on hands on detail and managing/mentoring teams.

John qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in 1984. He progressed to Senior Manager responsible for around 30 staff providing audit, accounting and corporate finance services to a variety of clients from large multi-nationals to owner managed businesses. John also undertook tax compliance work and gained wide experience of quoted company reporting issues, including dealing with the Financial Reporting Review Panel.

In 1994, John became Finance Director of a fully-listed company in the services sector and has subsequently been a FD of three other listed companies and held other senior finance roles most recently in the IT and Software sectors. John has extensive experience of fundraisings, acquisitions, disposals and reorganisations in addition to broad general management experience.

John joined Jenson Solutions in 2010 and has since acted as Finance Director for two clients and completed both due diligence and financial modelling assignments.

Stuart graduated with a degree in Geography from the University of Edinburgh before joining a major banking group where he qualified and became a member of the Institute of Bankers in Scotland. Moving within the banking sector Stuart worked in Audit, Corporate Finance and Commercial Lending. He went on to develop a specialism within Agricultural Finance which led into a number of Renewable Energy opportunities. Always an excellent Business Developer, Stuart has worked hard to establish a fruitful professional network of contacts, developing a brokerage team within the Asset Finance sector, creating first class business opportunities across a range of commercial sectors including – agricultural, renewables, food and drink, hospitality, manufacturing and the service sector.

Stuart chose to leave the banking sector in 2008 to establish his own business developing farm-scale renewable energy projects, primarily within the bio-energy, on shore wind and hydro sectors. Through these business interests Stuart has continued to build his professional network and identify a number of funding opportunities and indeed sources of funding for commercial enterprises. His interest in Business mentoring continues through his involvement with a number of incubators/accelerators. Stuart is now looking to focus on helping businesses looking to grow, identifying new opportunities and markets for existing businesses, assisting entrepreneurs develop their ideas and source appropriate funding.

Stuart joined Jenson Solutions in April 2016.

After training with KPMG, Graham has pursued a finance based career, mainly within SMEs, encompassing both FD and MD roles. He has broad experience in the negotiation of mergers, acquisitions and disposals, together with having taken part in MBOs, one of which he led.

Graham spent seven years growing a vehicle accident repair group, mainly by the acquisition of companies that needed to be turned around. His IT programming skills enabled him to develop a process control system which stream-lined production and enabled the group to attain high status in its industry.

Having left the accident repair business, he has most recently undertaken a number of interim and project based finance roles in which he combines his finance, IT and process analysis skills.

Paul Cook is a Chartered Accountant and experienced CFO with a diverse track record across legal services, media, technology, and hospitality. His career began in London with PKF before moving to Sydney to complete his professional training with PwC. He went on to spend several years in senior finance roles in the media industry, including six years at Hit Entertainment—home of Bob the Builder.

In recent years, Paul has shifted to part-time consultancy, advising a wide range of SMEs across sectors from breweries and restaurants to app developers. More recently, he has specialised in consultancies and legal services, offering expertise in acquisitions, fundraising and valuation, software implementation, international corporate finance, exit planning and execution, forecasting, and growth strategy.

Outside of work, Paul’s competitive streak once led him to take part in demanding adventure and multisport races, but these days he prefers the more measured pursuits of yoga, motorcycling, and archaeology—when he’s not busy with his three children.

Lynn qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte in 1995 and after a year as audit manager moved to Harrods where she built up 15 years post qualified experience working in a number of senior financial and commercial roles spanning finance, marketing and operations. She held such positions as Financial Controller, Head of Customer Marketing and Finance & Operations Director for Harrods Direct (E-commerce and mail order division).

During her time at Harrods she gained considerable experience in planning, re-financing, financial modelling, change management, project management, customer relationship management, shop floor operations and distribution. Lynn joined Jenson Solutions in September 2011.

Mark qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1990 and has since specialised in financial due diligence for the private equity, banking and corporate sectors. He spent many years at Deloitte, becoming a director in their private equity group in London and has since been a due diligence partner at Baker Tilly, BDO and Tenon.

He has, for many years, been focused on the UK mid-market, typically working on deal values between £1m and £50m, including development capital, buyouts, IBR’s, acquisition and pre-lending reviews for many of the leading UK private equity houses and banks. Mark joined Jenson Solutions in January 2013.
